Hi Heidi,

Last week, during our class on the 1st level covering Consciousness Integration, something extraordinary happened. The recording ended at exactly 55:55, a perfect mirror of numbers that felt like a sign. In moments like these, synchronicity can remind us that we are connected to something larger. For those who read the newsletter last February, you may remember I shared that the recording for that 1st class on Consciousness was exactly 1:23:45 in length.

These signs serve as reminders to help the students and me move forward with vision despite our many challenges. I hope that they bring inspiration to you.

I am delighted to share that my new book, The I Can Change Workbook: Interpersonal Neurobiology Fundamentals, is now available. Five years in the making, this 248-page resource walks the reader through the curriculum from the Executive Function and Neural Integration Brain Health Programs. You can explore it on my website  or order directly on Amazon .

You can also check out the free preview on Amazon, which includes a link to bonus resources: printable handouts to help track and understand nervous system arousal, along with a 15-minute introductory teaching video on Kind Voice. While these materials were originally created as a gift for workbook purchasers, I’ve decided to make them available to anyone interested in learning more about Kind Voice.

Looking ahead, the Center is exploring regularly scheduled online Kind Voice Cafés. These will be welcoming gatherings where anyone can learn the basics of the technique without needing to enroll in a program or session.

I first became aware of this vision while listening to Bex Lipps sing her Vision Keeper song at Cascadia Song Rise. As hundreds of us sang together, clapping along with drums, she invited us: “See the vision,” “What do you imagine?” and finally, “Open your eyes and see the vision here.”

In that moment, I saw a world where people were practicing Kind Voice in every city across the U.S., offering active listening and attunement. (One of the nine Wizard Brain skills, see slide at the bottom of this email.)  In the language of attachment research, they were embodying “reflective function,” and I could visibly see the healing it created. Like a current, it flowed through them and into me and I can remember the feeling of it right now as I write about it.

I am grateful to be able to share it with you and I invite you to reach out if you feel inspired or interested.  As we get the ball rolling, I’ll share more details.

In kindness,

Heidi
