Kind voice is about noticing lizard-y zones of thinking, then choosing to slow the thinking down and practice other regulation techniques like kind voice.

One thing to watch out for is something called "backdraft" in self-compassion research.

This workshop explains kind voice isn't simply a technique, it's a world that you can learn to visit and sustain.

I’m a relatively new client with Heidi but recognized on our first meeting that her style, energy and vast knowledge was exactly what I needed. This workshop is so packed with information and examples, you made everything easy to understand. I remember practicing some of these techniques with you. I am so grateful for your help back in 2021-22. You guided me though a very difficult period of my life and helped me bounce back. I am still fueled by diesel on a daily basis lol and some days (even weeks) my ADHD seems unmanageable!
