Welcome! Learn how to optimize your brain and open your heart.
The center runs online programs focusing on cutting-edge neuroscience, somatics, interpersonal neurobiology, and nervous system regulation. But what happens here goes beyond learning. People strengthen integration, deepen connection, and develop a kinder relationship with themselves and others.
The next cohort is currently forming. To join the waitlist, please contact me here. In the meantime, everyone is welcome to attend our free meetings at KindVoiceClub.com.

If you would like to begin immediately, both programs are available as independent, on-demand courses.
The Professional Certificate in Brain Health: Executive Function teaches the 9 Skills of the Wizard Brain through 28 hours of instruction. Approval for continuing education credits is currently pending.
The Professional Certificate in Brain Health: Neural Integration teaches the 9 Levels of Integration through 32 hours of instruction. Enrollment includes a digital copy of the Center’s newly published 248-page workbook, I Can Change! Interpersonal Neurobiology Fundamentals.

Those who complete both courses, or who have equivalent training, may also continue into the optional Advanced Year program.
"Practicing kind voice throughout this course has strengthened a part of me and connected me with others interested in neurobiology, self compassion and self care. I feel increased confidence and self trust in helping myself and others with the skills I have learned through Heidi’s inspiring teaching."

What Graduates Are Saying
This program changes more than how you think — it transforms how you live, relate, and lead. In exit interviews, graduates consistently report five powerful outcomes:
Real Emotional Growth
Students leave with greater calm, clarity, and confidence — even in the face of stress, conflict, or overwhelm.
“I didn’t think I could stop a panic attack with self-talk, but now I can.”
Tools That Stick
Techniques like Kind Voice, Wizard Brain vs. Lizard Brain, and Differentiating & Linking become second nature. They're simple to learn, yet deeply transformative.
“It’s not just theory. It became instinct.”
Supportive Community
The learning environment is built on emotional safety and connection. Breakout rooms, peer practice, and real conversations create a sense of deep belonging.
“You’re going to gain friends and community.”
Flexible & Accessible
You don’t need a therapy or coaching background. The course meets you where you are — with pre-recorded videos, live sessions, and a go-at-your-own-pace format.
“You don’t have to be ‘ready.’ Just be curious.”
Long-Term Impact
Graduates report lasting changes in how they speak to themselves, navigate relationships, and respond to life. Many describe a renewed sense of meaning, balance, and inner leadership.
“This helped me find home in myself.”
"I had the pleasure of being in Heidi’s class where learning and sharing with other students created a community of support. It was a little daunting at first, but it did not take long to feel the loving kindness and safety of our group’s shared experience."

“I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.”
- Sarah Williams
This quote was on a greeting card, and I thought it was a perfect way to encapsulate what Heidi has helped me do.
Scared to death of counseling at first, I had a lot of anxiety before my sessions. I was surprised at how safe and comfortable I felt with Heidi. I thought that I was going to have to dredge up ALL my past trauma and reveal my deepest regrets but instead she put me in the driver seat. She taught me about self-compassion by leading me through the Kind Voice exercises. I was totally unaccustomed to this way of thinking. I thought I was just making excuses for myself, and my own shortcomings. Forging ahead anyway, I felt good that I was making an effort to improve my thinking.
Getting used to the Kind Voice Technique only took continuing with my sessions. I realized it was helping to melt and integrate my shame. (I was raised in a high control religion with lots of shame.) I now had a tool to combat rumination and someone to hold my hand as we gazed into my inner night.
I feel a lot more confidence within myself. I can advocate for myself now in a way I never could before. If I wake up in rumination, I reach for my kind voice and repeat the words like a mantra. As a result of having less fear, I can get outside of my comfort zone and even decided to take the brain health program. Now I am learning the recipe for Heidi’s secret sauce. Finding such a skilled and kind mentor has been an enormous blessing. I have been enjoying my practice coaching sessions and the opportunity to be a little shooting star out there in the night, spreading the message. With Heidi’s help, I am integrating each twinkling star and shiny planet into my celestial map and have fully embraced star gazing. I can truly say that I am not fearful of the night.
